MARINews, Melbourne – Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia (MA RI) resmi mengawali Indonesia Judicial Fellowship Program di Federal Court of Australia (FCA), Melbourne.
Program yang berlangsung selama dua pekan, dari 27 Juli hingga 7 Agustus 2026 ini diikuti oleh empat hakim Indonesia, yaitu Dr. Rosana Kesuma Hidayah, S.H., M.Si. (Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat), Adhika Budi Prasetyo, S.H., M.B.A., M.H. (Hakim Yustisial Kamar Perdata MA RI), Ni Putu Asih Yudiastri, S.H., M.H. (Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Jepara), dan Dwi Satya Nugroho Aji, S.H., LL.M. (Hakim Yustisial Biro Hukum dan Humas MA RI).
Delegasi didampingi oleh Dr. Aria Suyudi, S.H., LL.M., staf khusus Ketua Mahkamah Agung RI-anggota Tim Pembaruan Peradilan MA RI.
Program ini merupakan bagian dari kerja sama strategis MA RI dengan FCA yang telah terjalin lebih dari dua dekade, serta didukung oleh Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice 3 (AIPJ3).
Keempat hakim delegasi terpilih melalui proses seleksi terbuka yang dikoordinasikan oleh Tim Pembaruan Peradilan MA RI berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Ketua Mahkamah Agung Nomor 153/KMA/SK.KP1.1.2/IX/2025.
Secara umum, program fellowship ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas hakim Indonesia dalam praktik peradilan komersial internasional, sekaligus mendukung agenda reformasi hukum nasional menuju Indonesia Emas 2045, termasuk perbaikan peringkat Indonesia dalam Business Ready Index (B-Ready) Bank Dunia serta pemenuhan standar OECD terkait sistem kepailitan, penegakan hukum persaingan usaha, eksekusi perdata, dan pengakuan putusan asing.
Selama dua pekan di FCA, keempat hakim akan mendalami empat area utama, yakni hukum persaingan usaha, hak kekayaan intelektual, litigasi lintas batas dan eksekusi putusan asing, serta efisiensi operasional pengadilan niaga, yang nantinya dituangkan dalam proyek pembaruan (reform project) individu masing-masing peserta.

The two-week program, running from July 27 to August 7, 2026, is attended by four Indonesian judges: Dr. Rosana Kesuma Hidayah, S.H., M.Si. (Judge at the Central Jakarta District Court), Adhika Budi Prasetyo, S.H., M.B.A., M.H. (Judicial Officer, Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Indonesia), Ni Putu Asih Yudiastri, S.H., M.H. (Judge at the Jepara District Court), and Dwi Satya Nugroho Aji, S.H., LL.M. (Judicial Officer at the Bureau of Legal Affairs and Public Relations of the Supreme Court of Indonesia).
The delegation is accompanied by Dr. Aria Suyudi, S.H., LL.M., Special Advisor to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia and a member of the Supreme Court’s Judicial Reform Team.
The fellowship forms part of the strategic partnership between the Supreme Court of Indonesia and the Federal Court of Australia, a collaboration that has spanned more than two decades, and is supported by the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice 3 (AIPJ3).
The four participating judges were selected through an open and competitive process coordinated by the Supreme Court’s Judicial Reform Team under the Chief Justice’s Decree No. 153/KMA/SK.KP1.1.2/IX/2025.
Overall, the fellowship aims to strengthen the capacity of Indonesian judges in international commercial adjudication while supporting Indonesia’s national legal reform agenda toward Golden Indonesia 2045. The program also contributes to improving Indonesia’s standing in the World Bank’s Business Ready (B-Ready) Index and meeting OECD standards on insolvency systems, competition law enforcement, civil judgment enforcement, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
During the two-week program at the Federal Court of Australia, the four judges will undertake intensive study in four key areas: competition law, intellectual property law, cross-border litigation and the enforcement of foreign judgments, and the operational efficiency of commercial courts. Each participant will subsequently develop an individual judicial reform project based on the knowledge and experience gained during the fellowship.
